Southern Fried Chicken Tenders
This is the best fried chicken—crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. My family and friends all love this recipe. In fact, I haven’t met anyone who has tried it while I was cooking who didn’t love it
Equipment
- 1 fryer or deep pot
Ingredients
- 2 lbs Chicken Breast cut into 2-3 inch pieces
- 2 Cups Self Rising Flour season with a pinch of pepper
- 1 Cup Franks RedHot hot sauce you can use any other red pepper sauce
- 3 Eggs
- Morton Nature’s Seasons Seasoning Blend for seasoning chicken
- Enough Oil for your fryer or pot
Instructions
- Heat the oil either in a deep pot or in a fryer to 350°
- Take the chicken breast and cut into pieces about 2-3 ” cubes
- In a bowl beat the eggs and add the hot sauce
- in another bowl put in the self rising flour and add a pinch of pepper
- take the cut up chicken pieces and season with Nature’s Seasons
- Dip the seasoned chicken in the egg mixture then in the flour put in fryer for approx. 6 minutes
- Remove tenders from fryer and place on a plate lined with paper towels to cool.
