My Favorite Thanksgiving Menu + Family-Favorite Recipes

Thanksgiving

Here are my Thanksgiving menu ideas. I absolutely love Thanksgiving. I enjoy cooking, which definitely helps, but I didn’t always feel this way about the holiday. Growing up, it was just my mom, dad, and grandma gathered around the table. I wasn’t a big fan of the traditional Thanksgiving food—not because of my mom’s cooking (she’s an amazing cook)—but simply because I was a very picky eater.

Over the years, I’ve collected some incredible recipes for Thanksgiving side dishes, and I’ve learned that the more friends and family who stop by, the better the day becomes. Before my oldest son passed away, many of his friends would come over to eat with us. Sharing good food with friends and family made the day feel so full and meaningful.

This year, I’m hoping to have friends stop by again. I would love to share the recipes I’ve curated that make my Thanksgiving menu so special. This will be the first in a series of posts, where I’ll share each recipe individually. Below is my standard Thanksgiving menu, and I’ll include links to each recipe so you can try them yourself and impress your loved ones with these delicious dishes.
